A little clarity
about your data.

This page describes the Dotverse website, launch list, and app in development.

The launch list

When you choose “Notify me”, we store your email address, signup time, and your consent to receive one Dotverse launch announcement. The list is stored in the site’s Cloudflare D1 database and is accessible to the site owner through the hosting tools. It is not shown publicly or used for a newsletter. Signing up does not send an email immediately.

Only submit an email address you own. The site does not verify ownership by email at signup.

The interactive demos

The personality examples and creator demo run in your browser. They do not call an AI service. Text you enter in the personality demo stays in your browser and is not saved; reloading clears it. The email signup form is separate and sends your email to the launch list. The site includes no analytics scripts or advertising trackers.

Cloudflare processes requests to serve and protect this website. Request metadata may appear in operational logs. Your IP address is used temporarily to limit repeated signup attempts; it is not saved in the launch list.

In the Mac app

Dotverse stores local conversations, drafts, personalities, and pending requests in an encrypted file on your Mac. Its encryption key is stored in macOS Keychain. Sign-in sessions are held in WebKit’s per-account website data store.

When you talk to a Dot

Your messages and personality context are sent to the Dot service you sign in to. Dotverse is not an offline AI model. That service’s own data practices apply to your account and conversations. Your crew uses the same underlying Dot context and memory.

Clearing local history

Clearing local history removes the app’s local transcript. It does not delete conversations or memory held by the connected Dot service. Manage those in Dot itself.

Optional inputs

Advanced inputs open in the connected Dot window. Microphone or camera access depends on the features you choose and the macOS permission prompts you accept.
